Definations


PRODUCTION :
                              The action of making or manufacturing from components or raw materials,or the process of being manufactured is production.  The process can apply to any type of media production including film, video, television and audio recording. The three stages of production are
Pre Production
Production
&
Post production


DISTRIBUTION :
                                is the process of making a product or service available for use or consumption by a consumer or business user, using direct means, or using indirect means with intermediaries. The other three parts of the marketing mix are product, pricing, and promotion.Distributors use their know-how and size to ensure that DVDs of the film end up in stores and on supermarket shelves. Distributors also obtain the BBFC certificate, and try to get films released as the most favorable times of the year for their genre, etc.

EXHIBITION :
                       
An organized presentation and display of a selection of items.
AUDIENCE :

                     A group of people who participate in a show or encounter a work
INSTITUTION :
                        An organisation founded for any kind of a purpose

OWNERSHIP :

                        The act, state, or right of possessing something


CONVEYANCE :
                              The Action of transporting something from a place to another.


SYNERGY :
                      The interaction of two or more production or film making companies  to ensure a larger effect than if they acted independently. This is beneficial for each company through efficiency in expertise and costs.



HARDWARE : In information technology, hardware is the physical aspect of computers, telecommunications,
and other devices.Hardware implies permanence and invariability. Hardware includes not only the computer proper but also the cables, connectors, power supply units, and peripheral devices such as the keyboard, mouse, audio speakers, and printers 




NEW TECHNOLOGY :
                                     the collection of techniques, skills, methods and processes used in the production of goods or services or in the accomplishment of objectives, such as new shooting equipment,cameras,sets,and visual effects



CONGLOMERATE :
                                      A thing of a number of different and distinct parts or terms that are grouped together

MARKETING:   A media market, is a region where the population can receive the same (or similar) television and radio station offerings, and may also include other types of media including newspapers and Internet content. They can coincide or overlap with 1 or more metropolitan areas, though rural regions with few significant population centers can also be designated as markets.
